  1. Flying over hurricanes isn't uncommon
  2. There's a flash flood warning 5 miles to my west. Yet I picked up a measly 0.17" Just something about my microclimate I guess that these high precip events affect all areas around me but not me.
  3. Lots of red to my south and west. But will radar fill in over my house? Man this is prepping me for winter storm tracking
  4. fat PWATs predicted for my area today. Flood watch again. remains to be seen if the models whiff once again on widespread heavy rains.
  5. It never ceases to amaze me how thunderstorms can dry up over top of my house, then reform a mile up the road.
  6. Pretty big bust on that widespread flood threat yesterday by Boulder NWS
  7. It's been a good soaker today. Not much overly heavy rain at all. Based on radar I might be able to squeeze 0.75" out of it.
  8. Flash flood watch for my area today. Last time I had a FFW, I didn't get a drop of rain
  9. Doesn't seem to be looking good for much moisture getting into NE CO
  10. Reports are that they issued it due to wildfire smoke infiltrating the area.
  11. 3/4" for the event. Could have been more as I got dry slotted this morning. But 3/4" is so sorely needed.
  12. This is by far the shortest loiter time I've ever seen on a major snowstorm. Most of it is all melted already.
  13. It's real. With compaction I got about 12" and there are reports of 15"+ in my area.
  14. OK I lied. There's about 10" on the ground this morning which means we probably got nearly 12". Damn impressive.
  15. I can't believe NWS had me in the 12-18" last night. Plenty of needed precip is falling, but I'd be surprised if more than couple sloppy inches accumulates.
  16. I'm SE of Denver and NWS has me painted in the 12-18" swath. Not sure how that much could possibly accumulate after being in the 80s today, but stranger things have happened.
  17. In the three years I've lived here, my back yard has always done well when there's a rain/snow line concern.
  18. Can I get about 200 off that estimate so I can join the fun at 6300? Thanks in advance.
  19. Last night my forecast was 2" This morning it's 6.9" Friday night plus 1.6" Saturday.
