  1. Started as snow here, already about 2" and radar says it's not stopping any time soon
  2. Then possibly snow next weekend. Ah, Colorado spring.
  3. Just your typical April single digit low this morning.
  4. For being the snowiest month of the year in NE Colorado, March sure doesn't seem interested in obliging.
  5. GFS has been bouncing all around the place with that system.
  6. Major bust low on the low temps. -12 degrees this morning after a -1 forecast
  7. I got 1/2" out of my forecast 3-6" The cold looks to be overproducing though. Forecast high of 16, didn't get above 5 and am already at -4
  8. GFS and Euro moved the southern extent of the storm further south in recent runs.
  9. This 6-12" winter storm warning looks like it'll struggle to get anywhere close to 6, unless the back end of this storm overperforms.
  10. NAM has a pretty good hit for the Palmer Divide, which, selfishly is really all I care about.
  11. Models are now consistently backing off on any major snow totals in NE CO.
  12. All the major models have basically the same storm setup, which is rare this far out
  13. I'm out of town, but this one would be a tough one to measure with the winds. I'd guess 8" with limited knowledge of what fell in my yard.
  14. This stinks. I was out of town for the last storm, now I have to fly out of town last minute before this one.
  15. Even as the NWS issues WSWarnings, the current NAM run still says "meh"
  16. Euro and GFS both have big hits for NE Colorado, yet the NAM says "what storm?"
  17. Bring it on. I've only got an inch or two left in high sun areas from the Dec 28 storm. And I kind of like having extended snow coverage.
  18. Some wicked fog on the Palmer Divide this morning. Visibility like 200-300 feet, at least from my back deck.
  19. For as much as Wednesday's system ended up booming, tonight's system looks to be a huge bust
  20. My back yard just got lumped into the winter storm watch. Yet for only 2-5" which seems odd. That's hardly winter storm criteria.
  21. I was out of town for the storm, but I think I got a foot
  22. My back yard got to -15 last winter and projected temps seem to be in that same range for lows, just for an extra 12-18 hours.
  23. I love a good storm as much as anyone, but this one has me on edge because I am visiting family in State College PA late next week and fly out of Baltimore for a Florida vacation on the 23rd.
