    I was not expecting to wake up to 43 degrees this morning.

    And finally, on the last chance I'll get before the monsoon pattern changes, I got .25" in a storm. Thank goodness.

    Another day, another thunderstorm passing within arm's reach of me, yet I stay dry.

    Another day, another heavy rain cell that passes a couple miles away, and I get shut out. It has gotten so bad that my sprinkler system keeps trying to skip a cycle because it thinks my lawn has gotten plenty of rain.

    Meanwhile, .15" on the day and that's the best day of this pitiful week

    I've had two days of measurable rain (0.01, 0.04) since the last half decent rain (0.38) on July 22.

    Yep, the heavy rain in my forecast may end up a few drops. Again. Meanwhile Colorado Springs is getting dumped on. Again.

    Models have done terrible with monsoon moisture this summer, so I have no faith that any significant rain comes next week

    Meso models seem to have really struggled this summer.

    Another day of severe storms, another day of none of them coming my way. 0.01" today.

    I'm ready to not wake up to temps in the 70s. Save that crap for the east coast.

    And yet again, not a drop today. And again, warned storms a couple miles to my north and south.

    I got more rain today than the last two days combined. I think I counted 20 drops. Colorado Springs got enough rain for the rest of the year though.

    Two days of flood watches, two days of zero rain.

    The one aspect of Colorado weather I'll never get adjusted to is when temps start to drop right after sunset, then randomly go up later in the evening.

    Another dry night as tangible ran fell a couple miles to my north, east, and south.

    ABout an inch the last two days. Sorely needed. More today please.

    I got a good half inch last night, though as has been the case, a couple miles away got double that. Hopefully we get a repeat tonight.

    And yet again the bulk of the rain is just a couple miles away from me and I'll be limping to get to 0.1"

    Now 60%. So glad I'm boarding a cruise ship today that'll be heading into that area next week.
