  1. Nothing to cope about. Just a lot of these cities have records going back at least 100 years, some into the 1800s. Just funny to see one that's only 1948. You can go back to being a Chicago lurker after your snipe attempt.
  2. Kind of funny that an "all time" record doesn't even span 80 years.
  3. Doesn't sound like nearly as hot as they were hyping a few days ago though.
  4. First 90 degree day of the summer yesterday, but somehow was rewarded this morning with a low in the 40s.
  5. Thankfully I got about a half inch yesterday to save from a disappointing week. Now the torch begins.
  6. We go 0.8" in less than an hour, though I don't know how much of that was skewed by the hail.
  7. It was puking hail for a long bit for me, clogging gutters. But most of it half inch or smaller. Largest one I found was a hair over an inch, but those didn't last long.
  8. Finally got a solid storm (and hail that was appreciably small) today. My yard was due after all the storms spinning up all around me the last week or so.
  9. Some impressive hail and localized rain Denver and metro south and east. But a nice cell that was headed my direction dried up before it got to me.
  10. I swear I have a force field around my house. I just had rain and thunderstorm activity within 3 miles to my north, south, east and west. And didn't get any measurable rain.
  11. I picked up about an inch this week. I wish it was more, but my lawn is finally starting to show signs of life.
  12. Looks like this storm is further north than projected. Models drying up south and east of Denver. But look like a heck of a snowstorm in Wyoming
  13. I largely missed out on today's rains with the bulk of it passing to my east. Hopefully something substantial tomorrow.
  14. GFS has backed off a lot, but still has a few inches for the Palmer Divide and foothills. NAM also has it. Waiting for the 12z Euros to kick off.
  15. Seems like a rain event with maybe some cutover to snow briefly in some lower elevation places.
  16. All my snow was gone by midday. It's Colorado so you never know, but, that appears to be the end of any snow chance for the season.
  17. Most of mine melted already. For sunny spots that still have snow, probably only 2-3" left.
  18. The only problem with May snow is that for most of us it'll all largely be gone tomorrow
  19. Looks like I'll pull an extra inch from this morning's stuff. So 8" Even with that, still has me under 50% of normal for the season.
  20. Some excellent moisture for the area, especially the mountains. Hopefully that keeps the edge off fire season.
