  1. A sunrise temperature dip this morning down to 5 degrees. Must have been that 1/10th of an inch of snow we got overnight.
  2. I'm referring to the winter season in general. It'd have been more tolerable to date if it was seasonable cold during our dryness.
  3. Yeah congrats The Springs. At least someone didn't bust hard.
  4. Central/west Denver and from south of there did OK. I probably mustered together 2", most of that coming last night.
  5. Just impossible to put any faith in the models anymore.
  6. 0z HRRR has basically nothing falling in the watch area. 0Z NAM lost a lot of moisture, too.
  7. I've got a WSW for 5-10" I see nothing on any model that says that'd come close to verifying.
  8. I expect the models start to dry up today like they normally do 24 hours out.
  9. Managed to get maybe 3/4" out of that. Sadly, 2nd highest total of the season.
  10. I flew out of DEN early this morning expecting a rough go. It was smoother than usual.
  11. There were still some real nasty localized winds, but thankfully this one doesn't seem to be as widespread as the Wednesday one.
  12. The wx twitter accounts I follow have said they've never heard of one in CO before.
  13. I'll be curious to see wind reports for my area this morning. My PWS doesn't pick up north winds well due to terrain, but it registered 39mph gusts, so I know it was higher than that. And my grill cover got blown off, and it's on quite tight.
  14. Definitely some needed snow for the mountains. Too bad us high plains folks aren't going to see any snow any time soon
  15. I got a nice push this afternoon. Probably 5" by the time it's done.
  16. Unless the snow really ramps up the rest of the day, my 4-8" forecast will be lucky to get to 3.
  17. NWS is pretty bullish. Then again they were a lot last year before we got a small fraction of the predicted amount
  18. There's a pretty nice band set up in El Paso/southern Elbert counties.
  19. Last year's model trend was to dry everything out as the event got closer. Seems like that hasn't changed.
