39 degrees and rain. Reminds me of many a Maryland winter when it's puking snow 10 miles to my west.

Very early storms are rare here. Late season is a definite possibility though.

I spent most of my life in PA/MD before moving here. Way too many memories of living in MD and it being 33 and rain. The issue here isn't rain/snow, but cloudy and dry vs. 10 miles away getting 2"/hr rates.

Got a quarter inch from last night's storm, narrowly avoiding that nasty hail pocket that went through to my south.

I'm stuck in the middle of a pretty wicked hail cell. Not overly big hail but very long lived. Ended up with less than .2" of recorded rain, but gutters got all clogged up with hail.

You know it's nearly fall in Colorado when one morning (this morning) the AC comes on before 7am, but I might need heat tomorrow morning.

What are "preliminary reports?" Do they mean just radar warned tornadoes? Or are those actual confirmed tornadoes?

The advisory says it's expected to be short lived. So, Dolly is going to be a 9 To 5 storm?
