  1. Ended up with 1.88" of precip on the day with about 0.6" of that falling as snow or just that slop that came and went after it warmed up mid afternoon. 2.55" on the week. Great start to spring.
  2. Best I can guess is 2" here. I had 1.91" of liquid precip since Thursday night and 1.22" of that today until things froze up so we'll see what gets added to that when it melts.
  3. 32.4 degrees but it still can't decide if it wants to be rain, sleet or snow.
  4. Rain/snow mix now. Temps slowly dropping back down. Give me enough snow to cover all the green and I'll call it a win.
  5. Up to an inch of rain on the day, but temps up to 36. Unless another shot of cold air shows up (and HRRR still insists on it), this is an ugly east coast-style "cold and rain" event.
  6. I've lived here almost 5 years and I've always done with the rain/snow line when temps are marginal, even at 6300 feet.
  7. AFD is at least now acknowledging snow chances in the Palmer Divide.
  8. 18z NAM must see a lot of cold air. Dumping snow. GFS and Euro have a lot more snow outside of the mountains than the AFD suggests
  9. Nice storm for Denver to Boulder. Just teasing snow and about an inch for me. That puts me about 75" for the season and a foot more than last winter. Onto spring...
  10. A pleasant half inch of rain this morning, plus a trace of snow.
  11. A couple model runs here and there have hinted at a last gasp snowstorm a week from now.
  12. Winds have been pretty meh for me. Only a couple gusts into the 30s.
  13. I wouldn't mind one more last snowstorm before I start thinking about turning the sprinklers on.
  14. XCel energy is proactively shutting off power to a lot of homes on the front range until tomorrow. Seems a bit drastic, but then again they'll get blamed for wildfires if they didn't do it.
  15. Interesting that BOU AFD mentioned the potential of a Colorado Low next week.
  16. They have to get crews and equipment on scene first. Then figure out how to free the ship without screwing other things up. Then clear the channel. Things will get going faster, for sure.
  17. Lots of hail reports west of I-25. Temps already dropping so I'm think my area goes right to snow.
