    I'll be curious to see wind reports for my area this morning. My PWS doesn't pick up north winds well due to terrain, but it registered 39mph gusts, so I know it was higher than that. And my grill cover got blown off, and it's on quite tight.

    Definitely some needed snow for the mountains. Too bad us high plains folks aren't going to see any snow any time soon

    NWS is pretty bullish. Then again they were a lot last year before we got a small fraction of the predicted amount

    There's a pretty nice band set up in El Paso/southern Elbert counties.

    Finally on the board for the season with a whopping 0.1"

    Last year's model trend was to dry everything out as the event got closer. Seems like that hasn't changed.

    It wouldn't surprise me if there's a snowstorm Friday since I'm flying out of town Thursday. Happens all the time.

    I'm impressed how many of the Jamaica webcams are still online.

    True, but it's hard to get last minute availability on flights, especially to vacation destinations.

    Also the various cruise ports, which Jamaica relies a ton on for tourism.

    1.13" Nearly double what I had gotten the last 2 months combined.

    The rain gods just have something against my neighborhood. Even a decent storm 8-10 miles away headed directly towards me finds a way to dry up before it gets here.

    The Mid Atlantic one is a good one, too. Though I wish this forum was as active as those two.
