Only a trace accumulation today, but, just had some thundersnow which is always fun.

Just goes to show how far away the models are from anything out more than a couple days. That big snowstorm, still showing big numbers even last weekend, looks like just some nuisance snow showers.

I had the temps for snow, just ran out of moisture. Only a coating once it changed over. This coming weekend is still looking interesting.

I'm all for a massive storm to end the season. Got an inch of rain so far today, much needed. Might get some accumulating snow overnight.

18z GFS showing it, too. Probably a 1% chance to nail a blizzard 10 days out, but still interesting.

Well the Euro is drinking heavily today

If it ends now, I got over 70" again. But nearly half of that from that November storm.

Sure looks to be a disappointing end of winter for NE Colorado.

Winds are no joke. But the Euro wins again after being the first to push the lower further east and make it just a brief snowmaker for the metro area. 3-4" probably. Rough to tell with the wind. But it never stuck to the roads.

GFS and HRRR now have this has pretty much nothing. NAM is still the only one that has anything more than nuisance snow.

The Euro started sniffing out that this storm in NE CO was going to be a big whiff. Other models starting to catch on, too.

Could be interesting early next week for NE Colorado. Though models keep bouncing all over the place

Seeing the reaction to accumulated snow in areas that rarely ever get snow is amusing to me. -
Back down to -10 after a high of 4. Looks like the low will be early in night though then start to "warm" up by dawn.

I briefly got down to -10, but the low settled in around -5.

Almost 4" for the first round. Right in line with forecasts. We'll see if anything comes of round 2.

Got below 0 for the first time this winter.

Ended up with 6 or so. Tough to measure with the wind.

After the Monday storm underperformed, looks like today's storm will overperform. My 1-3" looks like it'll end up 4-6"

About 3" here. Looks like 1-2 more tomorrow morning. I'm ready for some real meat instead of these scraps.

Doesn't appear to be overly cold, except for the first couple days of the year, and dry as a bone outside the mountains in that time period.

Some good snow south of me, but only a half inch for me, mostly in the evening.
