    I didn't see widespread 10 inches. HRRR Long range yesterday had the big totals over NYC and western LI which is exactly what happened...

    not sure why it's run that far out 4x a day...best within 0-6 hrs anything beyond that is fantasy

    0z HRRR is a bit more realistic-the 12z & 18z run had a foot of rain over LI by 2pm...that's gone now. (granted it's out of range that far out)

    office worker will be mostly at home given it's a friday so that will help
