  1. Both NAMS showing not much precip now for SNE (less than .50 for most)
  2. yep alot different than when the sun comes up at 5:30am and sets at 8:30pm
  3. Not here...enjoying having the house open-had to close windows at 3am b/c it got chilly-cools off rapidly after sunset this time of year....
  4. that seems to happen here more in the spring when we get an April or May heatwave-last April had the heat on and 2 days later AC with temps in the 90's.
  5. At least Sunday of this weekend looks dry...I don't care about temps just give me dry
  6. NAM says what rain? Guess it will come down to the inverted trough feature that models have showed -
  7. NAM keeps most of the rain to the N and W of NYC
  8. enjoying these last couple nights with the house opened up....
  9. yeah window units are noisy and dont really take the humidity out of the air...also ugly hanging out of windows lol. Obviously central air costs alot to install and the housing stock in NE is older so you have alot of houses without it....most on my street put in CA over the past 20 yrs that we've been here-just too humid in the summers now...
  10. Odd precip distro on the 12z Euro
  11. probably the warmest day til next spring...
  12. yep it was part of our 5 day winter-3 days of bone dry cold then back to torch/rain
  13. 18z Euro seems to be setting up further east for Sat
  14. could possibly keep us drier if it bundles all the energy into Eastern NE?
  15. yeah it's a minimal TS but could probably dump some good rains doubt there's much of a wind threat I'm hoping the energy heads N and E like the 18z GFS shows we don't need another drop of rain here...
  16. What's odd is it never moves east....Boston and SE MA don't see much....
  17. Yep wet begets wet, hard to bet against that this summer/fall
  18. Still 4 days out-could set up east of us if things are a bit more progressive...let's hope. Either way Saturday won't be great but Sunday looks good especially south and west areas
  19. yeah terrible timing that 5 of the 6 nice days are weekdays
  20. seems like the models are developing a low on the front but too far east for most of the subforum....also appears TS Phillipe having some impact for far east areas as it hooks into far east Maine....
  21. hoping that ends up the case with it being a frontal passage-maybe a line of showers and that's it...
