Yeah big deal...and it was bone dry-worthless without snow...and you are right as soon as any cold comes you can see the warmth right behind it...

We had a big slop storm here in early Feb that dropped 8-9 inches that year. That plus the blizzard made for a decent 3 week stretch but that was about it. After the cold snap winter was over that year..

it will take awhile to cool down Canada...mid January at the earliest IMO for anything decent

over 3 inches of rain as it winds down. Winds were a non event-highest gust to 20 or so at BDR LOL

That's my hope here. It's going to take awhile to get north America cold again after the upcoming torch. I could see us struggling into January for sure....

I wonder if this ends up being a cooler version of 15-16 which was a 3-4 week winter from Mid Jan to about Feb 10th....

You may see that warm as we get closer. Snow covrr is minimal, and warmups tend to overprform I’d bet we see 50’s galore Xmas week

Some may seek flakes in the air but yeah not accumulating after 2 days of 60+ and water logged ground with temps in the mid 30's. But still impressive after this warmth. Today felt like April.

I do too-but models are fairly warm temp wise through about 1/1....Pattern change hopefully comes but we are starting to kick the can forward

maybe we get some cold mid Jan into mid Feb and a storm or two but looks like this wont be a big winter now that December and into early Jan look to be toast...

Cold and snow and hype in general sells. He's on record as saying a disruptive Xmas to New Year's travel period is on tap-let's see if that happens.

Alot of rain in a short period of time too-might be some flash flooding concerns in the usual low lying/urban type areas

Still have some oaks with some leaves here and of course the pear trees which take forever to drop...say goodbye to those
