Daffodils have been blooming here for a week...they look ok today. The cold might be good to slow down the growing season a bit-we were 2-3 weeks ahead at the end of the torch
We had a 7 inch snowstorm here in April 2018, but that capped off a great March with multiple snowstorms. So I'd say it's more likely in a year like that than a ratter this year with very little cold air around...
I remember being too young to fully understand but it would be 10 or 15 degrees and I couldn't understand why the forecast was for rain the next morning...LOL
We've gone about 10 days or so here since the last big rainer-at least the water has stopped coming out of the ground lol. Dry air last 2 days really helping-dewpoint 15-20 degrees
Yeah I skiied western MA after that storm-it was great-no one was there (probably b/c there was no snow at the coast-back yard effect) and once clocks go ahead people lose interest in winter activities... Condition are horrid now except well north.
