  1. Models not great for next week-warmer and wetter but wait 6 hrs it'll change. On a serious note we might have to wait until the 28th-29th for the pattern to fully set up
  2. Big cutter on the GFS with temps in the 50's the day after xmas
  3. up to 43 here with full sun snow melting fast in exposed areas
  4. some of those mall piles can last forever too especially if out of the sun. I've never seen June around here...usually into April into some of our snowier winters but 2010-11 was special
  5. some of them here in parking lots lasted til around May 1st
  6. most will be gone by the time we see the first drops of rain-tomorrow looks sunny and 50-55
  7. melting pretty good here with some sun and temps at 42
  8. you'd think they'd update it though upton has the same thing here even as of 11am.
  9. wow Dec 2015 didn't go below freezing once lol
  10. Where's the sun? Upton has mostly sunny it's completely overcast and looks socked in for awhile
  11. the weeklies can be awful-a couple years ago they showed cold all winter and we baked
  12. that would guarantee a couple of weeks of cutters too
  13. just have to hope the -NAO doesn't hook up with the SE ridge
  14. It was wild to say the least. Most of the snow was suppressed south however. Savannah, GA had a 10 inch snowstorm right before Xmas. Around the 30th-it broke and never came back-Jan/Feb/Mar were absolute infernos
  15. Take the under on summer temps and winter snowfall there lol
  16. It would have been insane to end this run of cold with almost no snow....
  17. If it's 4.4 we're going to have a good winter...Decembers with 4 or more tend to do well. (LOL I'm half kidding-90% of the area saw 4 or more inches so silly that they came in with 2+
  18. 3-4 inches here with the end in an hour or so
  19. I'm sure there will be hysteria tomorrow and supermarkets cleaned out-it's crazy these days
  20. -baby steps -this model is terrible in this situation -this looks like _fill in favorite weenie storm
  21. and those gradient patterns are better for upstate NY and central/northern NE. 93-94 is an exception when the gradient was south of NYC
  22. RGEM is pretty decent as a model-wouldn't discount that. The NAM is mostly garbage especially at this range.
