  1. yep it's a case of luck when it comes down to it...problem is there's usually 2-3 cloudy days in Western NY for every sunny one this time of year...

  4. seems like a distant memory but April/May and into June 2023 were bone dry
  5. yeah we got out a grand total of once in January and the place was maybe 60% open on 1/22. Terrible. Wasn't going to pay for ice/slush the other times it would have worked for us to go. Feeling envious about this last weekend but spring sports/activities have started here so we're unable to go now.

  7. Late March is way too early for most northern teams...they need to chop 10 or 12 games off the schedule but will never happen...
  8. The May 2020 event briefly coated colder surfaces here....came down heavy for about 30 minutes. Crazy.
  9. I remember that one as a kid-it was very cold the day before but everyone was skeptical. We had little league tryouts the night before-was frigid!

  18. If history is correct we will probably have another shot at a freeze in early April. However the MJO is moving back into the warm phases by then so maybe we get lucky and miss it
  19. VT/NH/ME look ok but have to wonder how many go other than season pass holders at this point...
  20. Yeah agree on all counts...after the last soaker we can water bubbling up out of the ground here.
