    Are you out of your mind? I'm right on the coast and we are not rural. 6 inches here with moderate snow. It's a statewide event outside of the far NW corner.

    heavier rates to the south so snow....in marginal airmass you need heavy rates to be snow

    Snowcover nationwide has been at record lows-great lake sea ice too. Which is probably why there's no cold air anywhere out side of the mid Jan outbreak

    Yep never touched it. I think we end up with mainly wet roads here. 3-5 inches on the grass maybe.

    Agree on that'the NW flank always has that weenie band. I'll chck out the NAM before wrapping tonight up that should be telling.
