  1. getting crushed here...lightning heavy rains and street flooding already
  2. In the other thread someone notes it's in the low 90's in central Jersey, I'm 75 here-so clearly the front is enhancing the storms
  3. 20 degrees cooler here on the CT with East winds 75/71
  4. ahh-I heard loud thunder overnight but no rain here-must have been that storm running about 20 miles north of here.
  5. makes sense-doubt there's many issues with power from I-91 and west
  6. yeah, CNN's home page is comical today....gimme a break
  7. I've had close to 6 inches of rain here so far in July-if we get another 3-5 we'll be close to 10 on July 9th...crazy
  8. it does interact with a front, but agree, it's a 6-9 hr period of heavy rain for some areas, mainly overnight tonight.
  9. Here in CT, the halloween snow storm of 2011, Irene, Sandy and even Isias were disasters here with regard to power restoration. A Cat 3-4 would take us out for months electricity wise.
  10. doubtful anyone verifies on that-might even be dropped by tomorrow am
  11. yeah I was surprised to see a watch for here given the better dynamics further north. 3K nam does show some action around 9pm.
  12. euro is a quick hitter with Elsa-thurs-night friday AM 1-3 inches depending on locale
  13. yeah it's gone by mid morning Friday could see that moving up a few more hrs based on latest trends
  14. Also moving NE vs straight north for Isias which brought the wind field over and east of NYC
  15. strengthens back to a TS over land moving at that speed? I have my doubts on that.
  16. the same parameters would still apply-if it's deadlier, it kills more hosts and can't spread etc
  17. Mine are 12 and vaxx'd. I'm hoping CT follows MA's lead on this.....
  18. Good post and agree-we're not likely to see any restrictions coming back at this point. The main argument here is whether kids need masks in the fall in school (Hopefully not) but that's about it-most have resuming living normal lives which is awesome.
