  1. scratch that. Had close to 3 inches here today at least in my backyard. Crazy flash flooding for about an hour at the height of it all.
  2. training storms here have dropped over 2.5 inches of rain. Still going, but much lighter rates
  3. line of training storms here-have had about 2 inches. Euro 2 days ago showed this then lost it-today's runs were terrible.
  4. Tale of 2 months up this way-close to 10 inches of rain 7/1-7/8 less than half an inch since 7/8
  5. even if it's true if the 25% is mild/asymptomatic cases then it doesn't really matter....
  6. yep-he's been playing the game for years and some always take the bait....
  7. he might be now and is just trolling....
  8. it's been said a few times already but case counts are generally not worth much right now if many of them are mild....hospitalizations/deaths is what's important going forward.
  9. Euro consistent with alot of rain tomorrow NY N and E
  10. Starting to wind down by then-sun angle becomes lower, days quickly shortening. Sure it can be hot/humid but not like in July
  11. turned it off here today-figure mostly off next 7-10 days for sure
  12. Doubt there's any lockdowns here. Mask yes, but people are not going to do large scale protests over that
  13. they have less daily cases than us right now...delta burned out quick there. England also seeing big drop in daily cases....
  14. great stretch coming up next few days to a week (outside of thurs storms). temps in the high 70's to near 80 with low dews.
  15. Not true-the vaccine was developed after the 2003 SARS outbreak which fizzled out so there was no market for it. And lol at this causing long term health issues....stop reading the far right social media BS. and not everyone who's healthy gets over COVID. A friend of a friend died of it at age 50 with no prior issues-rare, yes, but it happens.
  16. next week looks nice and dry-temps near 80 with low humidity.....
  17. Euro has nice cool shot first part of next week....
  18. yeah it's nuts out there-parents see their kids' success on the field/court as a microcosm of themselves. Spending thousands on lessons, private coaches, playing 2-3 leagues at once-just nuts.
  19. doubt we see capacity restrictions to restaurants at this point-they've suffered enough. Restrictions just drive people into private homes where it spreads easier (see CA last winter-nothing open but highest covid rates in the country)
