  1. I'd be happy with an inch of rain at this point....last real rain here was mid July.
  2. Nice to see models getting wetter as we get closer-looks like an area wide 1.5 to 3 inches with local jackpots higher
  3. It has slowed some-seems like it's late Monday now...
  4. yep especially since the WAR often verifies further NW...i'd be more concerned about a N shift right now than a S shift.
  5. WAR tends to be stronger than modeled so agree
  6. 12Z GFS coming in wet for NYC and north monday....only 3 days away-could it be?!?!?
  7. it brings moisture in from the PAC hurricane that recurves into the Baja and then Mexico...we'll see....but encouraging to see some tropical moisture being modeled vs some hit/miss cold front showers...
  8. Euro goes berserk in the longer rang with 6-8 inches of rain across parts of the region next week...LOLZ
  9. Completely agree-models have been overdone in the medium-long range on QPF
  10. GFS and EURO are wet for Monday-let's see if it holds
  11. we did a Thimble Island dinner cruise 2 weeks ago-the boat sensor was 79.1 for the water temp in the sound off Branford...
  12. models seems to be trending drier though...
  13. dewpoints plummeting here with the passage of the secondary front
  14. We had one day in July with about 3 inches of rain. Outside of that I don't think we've had more than .25 in one event since a big rainfall on 6/27/22
  15. yeah have not had much cancelled for rain...
  16. wow looks nothing like it does around here-dead grass, dead weeds and dead trees everywhere
  17. I know same ol same ol. Even at that .25 or .33 won't do much-need an all day steady rain at this point for starters....
  18. RGEM being a bit wetter gives me hope...further west one is the better for this...
  19. That's the regular NAM-the 3k Is much drier with little to nothing for most of us -
  20. Maybe October...I can't remember a July/August with the air on nonstop-we had a couple of nights with open windows in Mid August but that's about it....
  21. scattered large trees around town with all brown leaves-assuming dead at this point-noticed that areas with alot of rock (and less topsoil) are the worst....
