  1. RGEM destroys us with 6-7 inches of rain (SW CT)
  2. we capitalized for sure. I had a good 20 inch snowpack by the end of it....
  3. basically a 3 week winter. One storm around 12/17 with a foot area wide, big xmas warmup-Jan mild/dry, Feb 1-21 big snows, then March was fairly average temp wise but no snow
  4. warming quickly here-maybe another over-performer on temps?
  5. JB has jumped the shark. No one really gives him much credence anymore....
  6. with blocking so we could see a slow mover or even stalled storm
  7. suprised there's not more flood watches out that way-just a few for inland N CA.
  8. looks like some blocking too....could give someone a soaker if we get a slow moving storm-we are due, most areas have had little rain since 9/1.
  9. I think you forgot 1995? I had 4 inches here right at the start of that epic pattern-was very late November.
  10. I'd say we're still 75% green here.
  11. That likely wont get us much snow if that turns out to be true....
  12. October could have one heck of a positive anomoly....Dry too now which will add some to the warmth
  13. surprised we'd have a wetter than normal fall-it's been fairly dry since Sept and looks to stay that way for the foreseeable future....GFS/Euro very dry. CMC wetter but looks like a wonky solution.
  14. they are like weeds around here..they grow everywhere.....
  15. I'd actually root for that. Save the cold pattern (if it develops) for Dec/Jan
  16. Usually too early for snow and then it breaks just when climo gets cold enough for snow...
  17. some frost on the rooftops here. Down to 38.
  18. raw day here with some showers and temps now down to 50
  19. 59 here..some sprinkles and light showers around with the cold pool overhead
  20. warm sound and ocean keeping you warmer and to a lesser extent here. (got down to 43)
  21. yep-a later freeze/sea ice up north leads to warmer airmasses. Also the great lakes are warmer which modifies cold air coming from the NW
