Even KBUF is bored, the absolute worst pattern. Cold and dry. I would literally take any other pattern then this one. It virtual guarantees Buffalo with a well below normal snowfall season.

A cold, dry airmass will be in place through a majority of the
Long Term period. Temperatures will be below normal with highs
in the 20s and lows in the single digits to teens from Tuesday
to Friday. Unfortunately for snow lovers, the best chance for
accumulating snow will be closer to Interstate-95 from the Mid-
Atlantic region to southern New England as a coastal low
develops off the coast. There could still be a widespread
snowfall as far north as Western and North Central NY but with
the current consensus track amounts would be light.
