  1. That's why our totals are going down each year. We need cold air to get the lakes going. The warmer it gets the less LES we get.
  2. Buffalo gets no snow until Christmas in nearly every model with a decent pattern. I'm going to drop snowfall to around 55-60" total for year.
  3. This 100% confirmed? Was going to drive out somewhere to watch tonight.
  4. Coincides with GEFS, if anything that one is going further east.
  5. GEFS are pretty far SE. For Buffalo its long lost, still potential for you guys. Hoping it goes more inland to hit the Adirondacks.
  6. We miss the first storm Northwest, second storm into the south, and 3rd storm too far east. Also, no cold air around. Sounds about right. See you guys in 2 weeks.
  7. Look at all that cold air. I'm starting to realize unless we have a negative EPO we don't get arctic air in our region. We had a +PNA, -NAO, and -AO and still have issues getting cold. AGW is too strong.
  8. Happy anniversary. The storm that made me love weather.
  9. https://www.wivb.com/news/more-than-100-firefighters-on-scene-of-house-explosion-in-gates/?utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=socialflow&utm_source=facebook.com&fbclid=IwAR1BV27gP5mad1N9AELmDn0XHndShBCPxAlOce7r3prtxsrkYDqEgNyvjVU
  10. Won't be boring that's for sure. A garbage Pacific is preventing this from being a pretty epic pattern. Hopefully that changes in January as the La Nina weakens.
  11. 3,243 deaths today. Thinking we max out around 5-6k deaths a day in January?
  12. That winter was A+++. This was taking March 31st, look at those banks along the lake.
  13. This was the event I was talking about the other day where there was no LES in the forecast and we ended getting almost a foot of snow.
  14. Don't worry I now know to record horizontally for youtube videos.
  15. None of these events are good. Give me a good LES band please. I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms. A real band.
