  1. I'm in love with my snowblower. Had to be 4' at end of driveway from plow and went through it. Very thick stuff as ratios were lower last night. I can't wait for next storm to use it again!
  2. My favorite pattern. Keeps Lake Erie warm for more LES.
  3. Can't really complain 2 day total of 30.2". Awesome back to back events.

  5. @SouthBuffaloSteve It looks like the weather channel and accuweather want to use my video. I went on your twitter post and agreed to both. Not sure if you saw that.
  6. Heavy snow has moved back in. The band should weaken throughout the night but not completely fiddle out until the early morning hours between 4-6 am.
  7. Would like an apology from all you northtowners that said this was a dud and 2 star event please.
  8. Ready for round 2 here. I don' t think I hit 3' but should get close to 30"
  9. ...A BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN WYOMING... NORTHERN ERIE...SOUTHEASTERN NIAGARA...SOUTHERN ORLEANS AND GENESEE COUNTIES... At 212 PM EST, A narrow band of lake effect snow producing snow fall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour was located across the southern portions of the Buffalo northtowns, from Kenmore and Amherst to Clarence, and as far east as Pembroke and Oakfield in Genesee county. Expect the snowband to begin to settle southward across the Buffalo Metro toward the southtowns through 4 PM. Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this band of lake effect snow which will create blowing and drifting to the snow. A rumble of thunder is possible with the most intense portion of the snowband.

  14. NYZ001-002-010-011-085-261915- Southern Erie-Orleans-Genesee-Niagara-Northern Erie- 1130 AM EST Sat Dec 26 2020 ...A BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL AFFECT NORTHERN ERIE... SOUTHEASTERN NIAGARA...SOUTHERN ORLEANS AND NORTHERN GENESEE COUNTIES... At 1130 AM EST, A band of lake effect snow producing snow fall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour was located from near Hamburg to Alden to Batavia on the southern flank, and from near Grand Island to Rapids to Medina on the northern flank. Locations under the core of this heavy snow band include the City of Buffalo, the Buffalo Airport and towards Akron and Oakfield. This band of snow has reached its northern extent, and will remain nearly stationary through the noontime hour. During the early afternoon the snowband will begin to settle southward. Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this band of lake effect snow which will create blowing and drifting to the snow. A rumble of thunder is possible with the most intense portion of the snowband.
  15. Band is temporarily drying out, but some moisture is about to be added from the NW. Look at the strong returns off of Huron. I expect band to strengthen somewhat as it drifts south this afternoon. https://weather.gc.ca/radar/index_e.html?id=CASET
  16. The opposite is happening, band is going further north. Should drop back south around 2-4 pm.
