Seeing the 06z euro is “nam like” on phillywx. I’m guessing that’s not good for us...

320 ft ASL almost directly on the fall line well inside the beltway. Whenever there is a “fall line” scenario I feel like I group with the wrong side of the line team.

That’s pretty good for around here. Half the time we get a storm it melts within 12 hours.

A blend of the euro/gfs is pretty decent for dc metro even inside the beltway but I’d like a little more wiggle room.

Definitely improved from 00z. Best CCB is north but we still get some.

850 line doesn't make it nearly as far north through 84. Now lets see if we can get some CCB rakeage.

This is how we lose in dc metro, quick flip and no CCB. We all know it’s possible, hopefully the king disagrees.

I sure hope you’re right, but my confidence isn’t super high at this time that what you’re describing will occur. Not a ton of wiggle room inside the beltway.

I mean I’m a little worried. We have a storm and some cold coming together which is nice, but we need that ccb to save us if the euro depiction is right, and you know that ccb setting up right over us is no guarantee.

Yeah that was a fun one. Got about 4-5 inches pretty quick, and then it was cold after and turned into cement.

I’d be so pumped if we get an event that is snow —>mix/rain —> CCB crushing. Gimme an inch or two on the front and then 3-6 in a short span on the back and I’ll be satisfied.

In some model down time I’ll just say this is a bread and butter type event for us. Happy to be in the game with a storm and cold air coming together.

Let’s hope you’re right. A lot of those EPS lows would be a lot of rain for the majority of the sub forum.

I think we do pretty well on this run verbatim, of course we mix and rain but it looks like a legit deform at the end.

114 is a crush job on the deform it looks like for most of us.

Wise guys is so good. I got their Indian pizza, paneer tikka masala. My god it was good and I’m usually not a fan of non traditional pizza.

Good post. You love to see a map like this for the day of a storm. Nothing worse than being 45 degrees when the precip starts and waiting for cold.

I saw the 00z 31 member probability of 6 inches of snow from the GEFS posted in the nyc thread and it looked very nice for dc. Anyone have the 6z GEFS?
