    0z EPS looks a little more supportive of a storm existing in this time frame on the coast than 12z EPS did.

    The historic storm for the south being referenced is on the GFS.

    The GFS miss on the 22nd has me at 8 degrees while it's blizzarding on the NC coast. That usually doesn't happen. CMC is a hit and looks like a decent one for the 22nd.

    Went running and there is a surprising amount of snow still on sidewalks and streets in DC.

    18z GFS and 12z Euro look remarkably similar for the January 22 event.

    Wow the Euro and GFS are cold. Even adjusting for the models overdoing the cold in the long run it’ll still be really cold. You love to see it.
