    It’s actually pretty cool to look at snowfall maps on this scale now that you’ve posted, it gives you a sense of how narrow these systems are on a global scale and therefore how hard it is for models to pin down small bands of heavy snow.

    The thing with this event is it’s really quick hitting, a few hours of snow. We’re gonna need it to not be 35 degrees at the onset because by the time it cools it’ll be over.

    This isn’t bad really. We likely see some snow here at least. Some lucky guy in Delaware gets 3 inches and I get 1, who cares.

    My gut here says Baltimore and points northeast for this one, usually we don’t do well with transfers like this at this latitude. But I’d be very happy with an inch or two before the arctic air.

    Euro is nice...we just sneak in, but I am always nervous being towards the southern end of modeled snow.

    Two camps right now, GFS and UK south and CMC and Euro north. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
