  1. I mean it’s not panic if it’s rooted in science. The cards are stacked against us in Ninas and Ninas more often than not double dip.
  2. I know but we’ll probably have to wait until 2026-2027 for another chance at an AN snow season.
  3. This busting will hurt because a) This is probably it for the metros b) The metros will fail to go above climo and c) Next year being a Nina will probably make it a wall to wall torch for the eastern US and very well a repeat of last year.
  4. Yeah DC isn’t going above clomp this year if NAM walked back…
  5. Hopefully the mountains don’t cause a pseudo rain shadow for those of us to the east.
  6. Let’s hope this continues on the other side of the mountains.
  7. CWG is holding the line. Looking at their comment section I’m not seeing any cliff jumping.
  8. Yeah but some of the trends show a significant reduction of what the NWS is predicting.
  9. Looks like I was just reading posts from catastrophizing weenies. One of the posters here is in Alexandria and they’re already seeing flurries.
  10. If this underperforms should there be a post mortem what went wrong write up?
  11. Too little too late. If we’re banking on March to save us snow total wise we get burned.
  12. You think 6" is in play for DCA? Because that would bring it's seasonal total to ~14" which is slightly above climo.
  13. I think it's because the 18th-24th period is our only shot at getting seasonal totals above climo.
  14. Looking at the other maps the bullseye is in WV right now.
  15. Homestar Runner got more snow than us today...
  16. If DC over performs then it'll be AN for the season. That'll probably put the CWG forecast in the "C" territory when they grade in in April.
  17. I would kill for the rain snow line to be that far south.
