I didn't get any extra days at the end of the year in 2010 and I was off for a week and a half. As for 2016 I was a Senior and the last day for Seniors is always a fixed point regardless of how many snow days are used.
Gone are the days where a 12"+ storm will give kids a week off. I got a week off Senior year from the 2016 storm, so I got to experience the last of it.
I saw the future cast radar on WBAL, it reminds me of those troll systems from 2012-2013. They'd start out as snow, accumulate, look picturesque, warm air bleeds in, snow turns to rain, rain melts all the snow away.
