  1. Which is why worst summer ever regarding heat/humidity is probably true. Like you said it's only July 11th. Plenty more 95+ days next week before a short break.
  2. So the person that said there wouldn't be a lot of 90s this summer is looking pretty foolish right now
  3. Some people enjoy the sauna. I don't get it but they do.
  4. We're in the runaway warming phase now. It's mostly game over At least we had some nice winters to look back on
  5. Totally normal summer, nothing to see here.
  6. It's definitely been underwhelming. Useless heat/humidity that hasn't yielded anything It's like cold/dry in the winter. Probably will have to wait til more tropical activity springs up later in the summer. Euro has a very active August/September for east coast.
  7. Let's pull up a dew point chart too while we're at it. The data supports this summer as being one of the hottest already, now combine that with average dews. And it's only gonna get hotter.
  8. When I said worst summer ever it wasn't an exaggeration. The combination of high temps and humidity is worse than any start to summer I can remember
  9. This would've been a major if it had another day. Another case of an intensifying storm up til landfall
  10. Relentless and endless heat. Worst summer we've ever had
  11. It's not going to be dry.
  12. There's nothing healthy about 80F dews. That's lethal to many And it's not going to be dry lol
  13. Someone might get 10"+ this week. The moisture values are off the charts
  14. And it makes perfect sense but it's also a small system so it could build a core and explode in a hurry too. Regardless it'll be a flooding threat mostly with its rather slow movement.
  15. These storms have had a history of intensifying up until landfall. Models are showing the same but time should run out before it can get much stronger than a minimal hurricane.
  16. Should get a good downpour soon. It's a sauna out there CAPE and shear is pretty high actually right now so more organized convection wouldn't surprise me
  17. Models having a tough time with intensity especially for a relatively small hurricane like Beryl
  18. Good luck dodging rain with dews in the upper 70s
  19. It was only a matter of time. Prolonged dry spells are a thing of the past, or if they happen, they're followed by torrential rains.
  20. I shudder to think what a hurricane would bring if it ever hits us.
  21. Had a big branch snap in front of my house
  22. This season is going to be insane. The only hope is that we see a lot of southern sliders a la 2007.
  23. Southern New England got rocked
  24. What a difference a day makes. Felt cool compared to yesterday with the winds and much lower temps/dews. Right now Wednesday is the only disgusting day but it could also yield severe weather. Hopefully it'll make up for yesterday's bust.
  25. Too many clouds in the area for 100
