  1. Very nice storm in somerset. Very gusty with hail and torrential rains
  2. Because the usual seasonal forecasts that relied on past tools have become much more varied in our new CC era. There's too many variables that are interfering with one another and are producing outcomes we've never seen before.
  3. Not exactly groundbreaking to predict AN temps and BN snows in winter in our new CC era climate. That's been the general theme since 2015.
  4. We need 2-3" of well needed rain. This could save the foliage season
  5. I don't know I still see a late season flurry of activity
  6. That's a much nicer way of putting it than the terms I'd use.
  7. This could have some of the most substantial indirect impacts we've seen. It's already very large and could double by the time it nears Hatteras. Substantial coastal erosion, flooding, even TS impacts along the coast.
  8. At best the outer banks could see TS winds. Not impossible given its size too and westward lean.
  9. Should be a hell of a wave maker if it gets to 74-75W
  10. If this started out further south then maybe. But we're already at a disadvantage.
  11. It would be very difficult to get this to the US coast given where it's at now. In fact it would be pretty historic.
  12. That's not a heatwave in our 2025 CC era, that's called normal. 95+ for 3 days should be the new criteria
  13. Very concerning. Obviously way too far out to figure track out but given tendency for ridges to overperform it's a bit scary.
