Anything over a quarter inch would be nice. Gfs does suggest we'll see more warm/humid & wetter conditions after the next 95-100F potential.

Little to no rain expected ahead of the next major heat surge and got skunked yesterday yet again. So our lawns will look like hay and I expect an upgrade in the drought severity by August 11

Somerset got skunked again. Maybe got a tenth or so as heavy rains missed to the north and south. We'll need something before the next 100+ heat wave strikes

We're used to flipping from one extreme to the next so a major drought isn't surprising after record rains a year ago

Euro shows 102-108F temperatures by the 4-5th.

Yeah it already backed off significantly next run however ensembles definitely suggest another major bout of heat late 1st week of August. Dry run makes it more likely we see more 100+ readings
