  1. You know how it is nowadays...everything is worse, dangerous, apocalyptic. I wonder what a video showing inside an EF5 would be titled as, hmmm.
  2. We are all entitled to being awakened by a tornado.
  3. Oh yea deff. Will be interesting for se zones later on.
  4. So swampy alligators have been seen swimming up the Hudson. Niet stepdown in sight.
  5. One of the worst stretches of summer I can recall. My lawn is dark green and in ‘better’ shape then spring.
  6. Not sure, was speaking about the May 15 Southbury to Oxford CT tornado that went right overhead. I prob had a better chance of winning Mega Millions...safe to say I will never experience that again living here. As weather nerds, we appreciate the awe of fascinating events, but sometimes lives are lost. Like the guy in Danbury who was mowing his lawn and for some reason didn’t seek shelter in time so he hid in his truck....then a tree fell on it, killing him. I think that’s one advantage I/we have being a weather hobbyist. I can warn the wife to not leave work with severe approaching or to leave a bit earlier in the morning if snow incoming, etc, just being more pinpoint on details then the average guy. I mean, it has to have an advantage, otherwise the wife would think all this posting is pointless.
  7. Meh. Just been threw one. It’s all fun n games until your neighbor says he was home with his 6 month old, hid in a closet, and feared for their lives as trees came crashing down all around, one on his roof. I’m just getting the time to cut the maple that fell in the front, today. Unnecessary stress and work for a few minutes of a weather weenie rub n tug. But I get it, I still rub a few out to hurricanes. The power of these things is surreal up close though. Seeing videos or pics doesn’t even do it justice.
  8. Good stuff/work. They get ‘stuck’ in a certain mindframe but can be snapped out of it relatively quickly, unlike humans, and never look back. The wife signed us up for the french bulldog rescue association, we being ‘interviewed’ tomorrow. Always adopted dogs but never fostered...see how it goes cuz long work hours could be tough but our two bostons are love bugs so just being around them all day could be good for a foster.
  9. NE has it all, weather wise, without the need to fear for your life (except the occassional cape cod mega blizzard).
  10. Rains get weaker as it approaches the coast. You could be ok. 70/30 you good.
  11. I’m still biting my nails nervously from last fall’s call for a rat winter, because of the AK pig that shat on his truck.
  12. The step down aint happenning until later in the month, sustained anyway. Until then swamp butts, pitts, and backs.
  13. Great. So excited to bring more trees down on the property.
  14. Only option too. Too many dropouts and slow response time. Complained several times they say ‘everything’ looksgood on our end. Consumers need choices.
  15. Looking forward to second half step down. Nice way to get into labor day weekend with lots of pleasant outdoor activities.
  16. Many good options. Sling, Vue, YTV, Showbox, Terranium (borderline ‘legal’) ...forgetting some but point is, trash the cable if you can get good internet service.
  17. And that is ALL we care about. Eff earth’s future if I ain’t on it.
