  1. Alright fair enough....The stratus had 1.86" from that storm yesterday evening. Event total was 3.16", not bad after going 15 straight days without a drop of rain.
  2. Why can't this happen in the winter? Well over an inch and counting....
  3. Looked like we were going to miss the rain today...guess not
  4. Nice steady downpour, day 4 in a row of rain....after 15 days without a drop. Law of averages I suppose?
  5. I was tempted to take a run over there and scope out the storm watching areas....see if I could snap a few lightning shots
  6. Same here...second day in a row of storms all around me and little rain to show for it.
  7. How much rain did you get yesterday? We had storms everywhere, but here. Ended up with a whopping 0.04"
  8. Fill that well at the new house! Brief shower here as it developed right over top of us. Looks like 1-2 more rounds for later?
  9. 0.66" of rain yesterday....clouds looking a bit ominous right now, 15 day drought over?
  10. Had a few drops, first in 15 days...nothing as of now though. Hopefully we have more of a NW to SE movement or we are going to remain mostly dry down here
  11. Another beautiful morning, 54.9 for the low...hopefully some rain this afternoon.
  12. It would be nice to get some rain and bring the water table back up....I close on a house in August, I do not want to have to worry about the well going dry as soon as I move in!
  13. Nothing short of a coastal hugger at this point will help the entire region. 14 days now without a drop of rain. My grass looks and smells like a freshly cut wheat field. Any water used is saved for the garden. I prefer to eat my veggies, not the grass. 56.1, at least it feels great outside right now...
  14. I hit 89.2° on the 21st and 91.8° on the 22nd, otherwise mid 80s with dews pushing 70. A/C weather for a long stretch though
  15. Not a drop of rain since June 11th...looks like a shutout today as well, pretty crazy to see everything so dry around here. Quite the tropical feel to the airmass though, 75/73 right now.
  16. The garden is starting to dry out now, grass is browning...need some rain soon, at least the mosquitoes have been easier to deal with this year. I am sure they will come fighting back with EEE later this summer...
  17. 43.9 for the low...house was 62 degrees, sweatpants and hoodie weather on June 14th. The garden is not a fan of this weather. Great for sleeping though...
  18. Pouring here, with the occasional clap of thunder....garden needed this
  19. 87.7°/70°, steamy out there....but somehow we will miss out on the storms
  20. 83.6/67...at least it feels like a torch out there
  21. I was jealous of the one that my Mother saw in SE PA yesterday....I did get to experience the Mid Atlantic Derecho in July, (2012?), lived in Central Delaware at the time. I have never experienced sustained winds like that before, the lighting was non stop strobe lights for at least 30 minutes, unreal experience....
  22. 63/63 atm, sun peaking through the morning fog and nothing but bird songs...what a wonderful morning to sit on the deck and sip some coffee!
  23. I have had mine planted for 2 weeks now, the random cold nights have stunted their growth so far but they have survived. We need more consistent temperatures over 55 degrees to help. My berries are still 2 weeks away from ripening, which is quite late...
  24. 37.2 for the low, where is summer?
  25. The garden loves this weather, but I am ready for Sunday....
