    Down to 6.6⁰ already, off a high of 25⁰, briefly dropped to -4.9⁰ this morning....cold crisp night, felt refreshing taking the dog out.

    Radar returns do not look great here, but finally have some heavy snow falling, blizzard like dare I say....temps have fallen to 9.0⁰, everything is blowing sideways. Probably between 6-7 inches for the storm so far.

    nice to see, visibility is finally dropping....was almost 3 miles for a better part of an hour, back down to 1 mile. 18.1° 4.25" since yesterday morning, 3.25" new

    Southbury has been stuck in between bands now for the past hour, doesn't look good here moving forward. 3 inches so far, 4 inches total...Eastern folk, have fun with this one

    You can definitely see the dryer air pushing in from the NW....it is going be pretty close to the CT/NY border. Hopefully we get one of those weenie bands way out here...

    Light snow now, had some snizzel this evening as well as an inch of fluff earlier in the day...26.6⁰ Hoping for the current Rap/Euro Kuchera combo, but expecting 6"-10" here.....

    Well, at this point let's just take the Rap/Euro Kuchera for here and hope for the best... but for real. What are you thinking? I'm hoping for 6-10....

    Hopefully it is wrong and sends that plume right up into all of CT, then stalls it out, then just rots there all day long.....

    Not saying it's right, but it did quite well with our last "storm"....it actually did quite well with the higher amounts

    Got close to a half inch of snow, but the powerful late January sun has vaporized it all, other than shaded areas.....31.5°

    yup.....that little voice inside that kept saying it was too good to be true. I guess we can let it all play out, but we have been here, done this before. I just hope we can keep a 4-8 inch storm potential here, without that slipping away as well

    Yup, same here.....Kids just saw the Euro and they think it's coming. I have been skunked one too many times to take that bait. Yet....

    I said I would wait to make a decision until 12z today, hopefully the Euro ticks back west....hope your map works for all of us. Biggest "storm" here so far is 7.5". It would be nice with all of this hype to at least top that, but we shall see.

    It is the NAM, but at least it seems to look better so far...at this point it will be the NAM at 48 hrs and not 84 hours....

    -1.7⁰ for the low.....the ponds in my yard from the rain storm forever ago are going to be frozen until April at this rate. Surprising to still have some snow pack around here, a good 2 inches in shady spots.

    Lol....Just isn't our season it seems, we still have February and March, but La Nina might have something to say about that On the other hand, snow is snow and the kids want to go sledding, so hopefully at least 3 inches....

    I was going to give up after 12z tomorrow....so there is still time. Although I was pretty much dangling by a thread after the 18z GEFS. Let's do this, Reggie has some nice banding out here

    WOR crew is definitely sitting this one out... writing is on the wall, that PV means business it seems regardless with the other chess pieces on the board at the moment...50s next week will feel great

    I wanna fold and melt away at this point, but being 3 days away and only 150 miles from the goods keeps me grounded for now. We have seen big systems like this change in dynamics at this time frame and look like different animals once we get closer. So who knows, start low and hope for higher?
