  1. 4" and still coming down at around an inch per hr...wind is beginning to pickup
  2. not a Met, but based on radar to our SE, it just seems to be building, not falling apart and it is almost 10 pm, so it is going to have to start soon. Almost at 3 inches, but have the heaviest rates of the night so far, probably 1+ inches per hr
  3. yikes...just as I was praising the mesos earlier, now I'm definitely feeling a bit uneasy out here in the SW
  4. I was impressed how much snow you had down there, close to an inch...while we had just a few wet snowflakes
  5. 'Real' snowfall has begun, nice flake size too....32.5⁰
  6. It led the way, then tripped right before the finish line...sheesh, hope its wrong and the mesos finish first
  7. My kid has baseball at Zone nation from 130-3....debating whether or not to make that trip down, thoughts?
  8. Don't get me wrong, I hope I'm wrong...There is definitely going to be a fun band like the RGEM is showing where someone gets 15-20 inches, hopefully it parks over us, I just feel like we see it set up towards Danbury/New Milford area in coastals and we end up with a NAM/GFS/RGEM scenario
  9. 12z at this point, outside the 3k and RAP has us underperforming by quite a bit WOR...concerns are valid, especially with a deepening system, well south of the area. Typically you would see maxes in Northern Jersey, even by the NY/CT border and then again EOR, towards RI, I suspect Long Island ends up overperforming. Here I wouldn't be surprised to see 8-12, which is a great storm for the past few years, plus the wind will be fun, but definitely has underperformer vibes with regards to what the NWS is advertising
  10. I know its the RGEM, but man that thing has been stubborn....I know I can worry a bit, but there are definitely some red flags for the big numbers out this way, been there, done that situation for sure
  11. My 16.8" a few weeks ago will be my biggest storm of the season....all in on that call, this storm will be more impactful with the wind though, hopefully our over under is 12", but this might be an underperformer out here, overperformer EOR
  12. yeah, just saw that and even at the surface, the heavy banding barely made it past the CT shoreline, 12z had it well inland....
  13. shuffle has begun, early? Or just some noise, guess ensembles will be a bit more telling....
  14. I hate that I am even saying this...but man, that looks like what the Euro was putting out right before we were all let down in 2015, just displaced a little SW from the bullseye back then
  15. GFS is going to bust big time down there....nothing looks like it at this point and they are way closer to game time than we are
  16. Yet the AI version has the best look yet....definitely a good study at the end of the season with regards to the AI vs OG OP runs
  17. Shift that band south of Long Island north into CT, will make many in SNE very happy....
  18. What is 100 miles north of its current stall over the next 60 hrs? I feel like we have seen things shift much more this year...
  19. Definitely flatter, probably won't be the solution we were all hoping for
  20. GFS up next, guess we will see if it decides to flinch or double down...
  21. I'm hoping this is either a shut everything down type storm or nothing, important appointments on Monday...so annoying nuisance stuff just makes traveling dangerous
