  1. The GFS is really fast. It has precip on my doorstep by 9 am, about 2 hours faster than the NAM. Let’s hope the gfs is right on start time and the NAM is right on end time.
  2. This looks like it’s going to be mostly a function of where the heaviest precip sets up. That always makes me uneasy.
  3. Too bad there’s not a sim radar for 15z through 18z on the gfs
  4. Uh, the grandson at best. The paterfamilias was March ‘93
  5. The RGEM for us was a touch drier than the 6z run. First model to do that.
  6. What about here. I don’t live in the DC metro
  7. Yeah you would need to look at temp profiles from the surface on up. If that warm layer is shallow and near the ground, and with dewpoints low as Wes said, then those temps can fall like a rock.
  8. LOL. Dude, trust the NAM. Probably the best model out there ... after the storm.
  9. I’d say it’s anything from the arctic to or below us. Just my thinking. Others might weigh in with what they mean.
  10. SREFS? 11z NAM? Mid hour CRAS? Anybody with updates? NEED updates!!!! LOL
  11. You mean this sad season that is nowhere close to being over? Not even halfway. But I agree, this is moving toward our best event. Just wish it could scoot in a few hours early.
  12. The Saints are despicable in my eyes. The team and their bounty on other players, their constant crying, the fans, the city, all of it. Like Michael Thomas never gets away with a push off. Give me a break and cry me a river. And get your popcorn ready Saints fans because the Vikings play this weekend and you don’t want to miss it.
  13. Just keeps improving. I guess WSW are coming
  14. There’s an obs thread. Theres a Pa forum.
  15. Way to go Vikes. Long 3.5 hours for me lol
  16. 3 days ago it was west of the mountains.
  17. The last time drastic changes started showing up on the NAM was the anafrontal deal if I’m remembering correctly and it ended up right.
