They are a very aggressive team at the plate. Some of these teams are figuring that out and mixing up with off-speed pitching and they don't really adjust well. Going to need to learn from that if they want to go far in the postseason.

today is Y2K 24 years later.... :-(

Was happy to hear the rain outside this morning. From the looks of radar, I might keep under that narrow band of rain coming up the Carroll/Frederick County border for a little while. Choo Choo!
-
I heard they might be bringng Mayo up to see if he is ready. If he is, they might try and trade Mountcastle for pitching....Not sure I like that.

Heard one as well this morning while walking the dog.

Radar seems to be trying to pop something up now.

Step on someone's foot? That sucks. Stopped playing before Covid, mostly because the school gyms closed. Now I just play indoor soccer and Referee hoops up your way.

noticed that too. I feel like our clients who try and trade stocks on 15 minute delayed data :-(

Cooled down nicely. Backdoor cold front?

Nada. One bolt with loud thunder and heavy rain for about 5 minutes. Not much wind at all.

My oldest graduated from Hood College on Saturday in an outdoor service. It will be held in the rain, but moved indoors if there is a threat of thunder and lightning Hoping for thunder at least.

Looks great! Going to build some for my yard too. Did you angle the holes upward into into the mail channel, or were they drilled straight in? -
I have some work colleagues who were affected last week in the Elkhorn (Omaha) F3. They sent over some amazing pictures. As much as we all think they get hit a lot.....they said that last week was the worst outbreak they experienced since the 80s

That's great news and is a great experience for her! Trying to get mine to look at the abroad program they have in London. She initially wanted to and now is not so sure.

Unpopular opinion here. Sign Trevor Bauer at league minimum. If he hasn't learned and still is a jackass, the release him. He wants to prove himself again and might be worth the risk.

Cowser is still hot!

Just on a teams call with some of my development team in NYC area...It was wild seeing the effects of the earthquake as it hit. 4.7 is large for this part of the country and I'm Hoping that there isn't a lot of unseen damage since a lot of the buildings up there are a lot older and were built probably without considerations of earthquakes.

Yes! That came out of nowhere.

This line went straight down 70 from both of you and now we have some nice rumbling thunder and lightning here too.

My son's teammate has a brother who starts at UConn this year....#12 --> Spencer. He played at Rutgers and transferred to UConn this year. I hear he is projected to be a third round pick. Their older brother played lacrosse at Loyola for 4 years, won the Tewaarton award. He then played a year of basketball at Northwestern. He was playing G-League ball for the Warriors and was called up on a 2 way contract a few weeks ago. Scored his first points and Chris Paul got the game ball for him. Amazingly athletic gene pool.
