  1. Only 0.27” but everything is pretty saturated around here.
  2. The ice cream truck came out to our neighborhood last week, timing it with Spring Break. That seemed genius.
  3. Fairfax hasn’t opened up group 2 though.
  4. I don’t watch much horse racing, but last to first after the final turn is pretty cool.
  5. 28.8 for my low. Unpleasant in the wind.
  6. 1.06” total. Everything is soaked again.
  7. Huh BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED Tornado Warning National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC 339 PM EDT Wed Mar 31 2021 The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a * Tornado Warning for... Southeastern King George County in central Virginia... * Until 415 PM EDT. * At 339 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Port Royal, or 8 miles south of King George, moving northeast at 30 mph.
  8. I was a little skeptical of the amount of rain the mesoscale models were putting down, but it looks like they are right. Already about a half inch and moderate to heavy rain currently.
  9. We haven’t had a lot of cold wind though. I feel like it has been pretty reasonable.
  10. And now I remember humidity.
  11. 79.9. Knocking on the door. 79 at DCA with gusts to 40. Very Great Plains-like day today with warm/windy.
  12. I generally do 10 every other year. This is an off year so it is bags only. I don't really want to think about how much I've paid to have trees removed and then paid again to have different shredded trees returned.
  13. 15 cubic yards is the most that I've ever ordered at once. That took a while to distribute.
  14. Some of us can max on downsloping WNW winds (especially DCA). Already 74.8 here.
  15. Nectarines need to be even or above peaches. And I will not stand for any raspberry slander.
  16. @stormtracker is correct. It is cherries. When they are in-season and go on sale in June/July, our fridge is full of them.
  17. Yes, low voltage lighting is excellent. I love the bump in the path around the tree.
  18. It looked like a PRE on the models leading up to the event. Shouldn’t have been surprised that it overperformed for 95 and East.
  19. 0.81”. Good soak. The plants should love this in combination with the near 80 on Friday.
  20. Funny little low coming up the coast today. Certainly don't mind if it rains every 5 days or so at this time of year.
  21. Speaking of which, what would you say that the difference is in climate between your two locations in terms of growing season start, leaf out, etc.? Is McHenry like a month behind Arlington?
  22. Not even close to a freeze this morning. Seems likely that yesterday was it at my house. 58 and beautiful.
  23. I had one deep upset team in my elite 8. VCU. Ahhh.
