  1. That's so wild. Very weird system, interesting though. Looks like it's passed though, so we'll see how temperatures respond.
  2. Yeah, low 80s will be tough at this point. How could they (the models, mets) have missed this entire system at such a short range?
  3. Agree. Botched forecast for today. Although, the humidity after this weird ball of rain moves through will probably be oppressive.
  4. 90 is 100% out of the question today. They got this forecast wrong, lol.
  5. What is an elevated thunderstorm? Don’t think I’ve ever heard that term before? Why would it get temperatures warmer?
  6. Yeah, they've stepped back a little which is understandable. Yesterday there was a period where the airport was forecast at 92 and 93.
  7. The Weather Channel likes the chance of records falling this weekend.
  8. Going to the baseball game Friday, so either way hot and sticky.
  9. Is 90 possible at the end of the week? Weather Channel seems to think both Friday and Saturday have a shot.
  10. Yeah, it will be a stretch for sure. Probably unlikely, but upper 80s that time of year are definitely possible. We'll see.
  11. May need to look at next week for some real heat. Weather Channel has Friday-Sunday mid-upper 80s, of course they did for weekend too at one time, lol.
  12. In this case yes, you are, but that's not weather related so...back to the topic.
  13. I actually don't. I just don't understand how it happens everytime and point out how weird it is.
  14. You don't have to call it my ridge. I'm not rooting for any major heat at this point, just want some dry weather. If that comes with low 60s or low 90s, I don't care. Just stop raining!
  15. Looks like the heat has been squashed. Just more seasonably warm now, but still if we get sunny days in the 70s that would be perfect.
  16. That surprises me as well with how warm some Mays have been.
  17. Probably far too early. In the last 25 years the earliest we've hit 90 was May 27th in 2012. 1996 was the last year we hit 90 before the 20th. The drier look though would be great. But seems tough to not get rain in that kind of set up, but If we can get a few sunny days and warm temps it would be perfect.
  18. Because a tornado didn’t rip my house’s roof off the tornado watches and warnings weren’t necessary.
