  1. Which was exactly my point. These maps really can't be used for definitive totals.
  2. So, anyway after our week of a foot of snow, we'll return to Spring this week. Ready for some 70s.
  3. Yes, there are some trends that I've liked the last few seasons.
  4. The nice thing about MLK too, was that the snow was on the ground for weeks.
  5. Yes, and the MLK was still as big as it was despite any other assertions, lol.
  6. Yeah, taking it as a whole this was not a bad winter. May honestly be fairly near average to a slightly below average one, but not a total loss.
  7. I'll show you this snowfall map from the NWS service, you'll see that it has us in the 2-3' range, just barely, for the season. These maps never seem to be totally accurate. Just after the 3" earlier this week this same map showed us in the 1-2' range even though the NWS officially recorded 29.9" of snow, more than 2'. So, excuse me for not taking the maps as gospel, when they clearly are off.
  8. This will push the seasonal total up near 40", that's pretty respectable considering the dismal December and slow February.
  9. Man, you lower the totals everytime. Most of the county got 5" yet somehow the airport managed almost 10", please. 6"-10" was standard countywide.
  10. I like seeing back to back seasons with multiple 6"+ storms. Hope that's a trend that continues.
  11. Biggest for you, I guess, lol. Most of us got more on MLK.
  12. Looks like this did exactly what it was supposed to and then some. Really nice looking outside. Over 10" for the month of March. For hopefully the last blast of winter this was a good one.
  13. Roads just look wet, hopefully they stay that way. Kind of doubt it though.
  14. I didn't say you were, but the banter thread might beg to differ. And you really have not one inch of room to talk about trolling. You've done it for two months at this point.
  15. Exactly, it's time! On last winter gasp (likely) and move forward. Hopefully, no snow on Mother's Day this year, though a very heavy rain is pretty usual that day, lol.
  16. Would never give up a foot of snow just cause it fell at night.
  17. 2-4" in mid-March should make any snow lover happy, plus it's on the back of an unpredicted 3" event in March. Not sure I understand the not wanting 2-4" if that's what we get, especially this time of year. The timing is like saying you'd rather get nothing in November vs. 2-4", when there was an outside possibility of 6". Sign me up for that at that time of year.
  18. Looks like officially at least 3" today. Definitely a surprise. We'll see what Saturday brings.
