  1. It was throwing that out earlier too. If storms hold off or form further east, we could see some pretty high temperatures.
  2. Thought the same thing. I could take this weather all summer.
  3. HRRR has us in the low 90s today, and around 95 tomorrow. NAM 3km has us upper 80s today and about 90 tomorrow. We will see.
  4. Yeah, that is good news. Would we like it to cool down quicker, sure, but I'd rather there be less damage and stay hot, than be comfortable and damage be crazy. That 74 degree may hold on through midnight.
  5. There is one further east. Maybe the better dynamics have shifted that way.
  6. I wonder if being on the western and southern edge of the enhanced risk gives us a chance to escape the worst of the storms and they blow up to our east?
  7. I'd be shocked if it did. 84 for the 10am temp. Hot.
  8. If we weren't going to see an increase in clouds in the afternoon we could have been on our way to 95 today. It's already 80, just crazy.
  9. Definitely having these temps and a dew point peaking at 76 feel very Florida like today.
  10. Or 33 and rain when snows just 25 miles away, gimme that 93 and humid, lol.
  11. 1pm temperature is 88 dew point 76, 99 heat index. Crazy. I do have a question, though. The humidity is crazy high, and usually very humid days can cap temperatures here below 90. Looks like we'll make it to at least 90 today. Why would we be able to get to 90 with such high humidity today, is it just that the airmass is such a hot one? I imagine with lower humidity we'd probably easily see 95 today.
  12. My weather app center on KPIT jumped to 85 with a 74 dew point. Not to jinx it but we may be on track for our first 90+ of the year.
  13. Temp officially up to 80 with a 73 dew point. Crazy.
  14. NAM 3km has us at about 88 for tomorrow. I'm starting to think that's about where we'll end up. But they get us to the 90s Thursday. NAM 12K has us in the 90s both days.
  15. Either way, still hot. That makes sense though too.
  16. Today mid 80s look to be a struggle. Clouds are hanging pretty tough.
  17. Ron Smiley just said rain chance at about 11 am tomorrow, so that kills chances of 90 pretty much.
  18. I can never remember what time of day those time stamps correspond to. What time of day is 12z? I mean it's morning, but what time?
  19. Heat watches and warnings are creeping closer. If the temperature forecasts hold in the mid 90s, I'd imagine a heat advisory for Wednesday would go up. Sounds like crazy humidity with this, so that will be unpleasant.
  20. Interested in it not happening, lol. Hopefully there isn't too much damage if it comes through.
  21. How high realistically do we see it getting Wednesday. I’d say our ceiling is 92 maybe 93, but the 95 being forecast will be tough.
