  1. Think this ends up right in Ginx/Kev backyard. Models had Fred in Mobile and gradually came back east.
  2. And today didn’t help matters for many.
  3. I think goal post is CT/RI line to the Cape with more hydro related concerns vs wind. However it won’t take much wind to take down some tree after today. Interesting to track and easily could go out to sea
  4. Amazing run at Mt Washington hill climb; His car control unbelievable!
  5. Hearing water related issues in the Thompson/Woodstock area
  6. 24-36 hours will tell a lot
  7. Do we know which model did best with Fred?
  8. Don’t need much in New England to cause problems, Irene and Isaias showed us the that; a week Cat 1 cause some issues.
  9. I figured this was James gift storm to New England! Miss the guys enthusiasm, he would have Cape Cod evacuations at this point!
  10. It could easily be like a winter storm, but much easier to prep for 12-20” of snow vs 5 days without power
  11. A CAT 1 is a beast by SNE standards, Pretty significant tree growth since Bob in 1991
  12. Wouldn’t this be coming at a different angle than Bob did? One thing I will say living in S FL, when storms are nearby you need to pay attention, there is not much time to prep as one would think.
  13. GFS keeps ticking west is it noise or a trend ?
  14. Video from Putnam during the Floods of 1955; as a result the Army Corp of Engineers installed the System of Dams from Brimfield and Oxford Mass into West Thompson. https://youtu.be/BNn5KPcmQo8
  15. I’m not sure what’s happened the past 2-3 years with NHC with the designations of some of these storms
  16. Wouldn’t be good for me but the HWRF has not been too good as of late.
  17. So while Fred is pretty much a Flop, here in Martin County in S FL got 7” of rain last night with most coming in 2hr period
