  1. Missed the T Storms to my south, just rain but at 10pm had a CG out of nowhere that thought for sure hit the house; the dog and I both almost fell off the couch!!
  2. Looks like it’s trying to take a left turn and hit southern Tolland County
  3. Going to preface by saying it’s only 9am but feels less humid with a light breeze and 82F
  4. NWS was showing (whether or not it gets expanded) most of New England not even in a level 1 for severe; most was confined to SW CT.
  5. Decent light show. This can’t be good. Westerly: the majority Westerly currently has no running water. The town made a post last night saying that water pressure was low due to ongoing drought conditions, but now many areas have no water at all. While there is no current restoration time, town officials are actively working to address the issue.
  6. 98-100F along the I 395 corridor, the Seabreeze is visible on radar, pushing up from the southern coast; we’ll see what that does to knock down temperatures in the next couple hours
  7. It sounded good west of me towards UCOnn/IJD and then fell apart approaching 395. Low of 72F here so far, S FL like.
  8. Home after the trek back from PT Judith, 84-88F on Rt 138 from URI until I got to I-395; once on 395 in Plainfield Killingly temps jumped to 91, 89 now at home. There is a nice breeze here now making it somewhat tolerable outside.
  9. I was fortunate to spend most of the day on Block Island, temps there in the low 70s. I am making my way back home in Eastern Connecticut and temps have only risen to 86. Look at radar looks like there’s a nice sea breeze running up to 395 temp at home dropped from 95 to 90
  10. I missed just to my north ( had sprinkles) last evening and nothing over night
  11. What kind of sea breeze interaction can we see during this stretch? Only reason asking last night its appears one formed and made it down into NE CT judging by radar. After spending 9 years working outside in S FL I was keen to watching the sea breeze develop on radar for indication where storms might start to form.
  12. I take their sloppy leftovers of rain/light rain from what’s left of the complex
