  1. Ground covered, decent band over Windham County snowing moderately and 32”. Measured 1 3/4” so far of paste. Overperformer down here.
  2. I just dropped from 41 to 38 so there may be hope.
  3. Warm tongue right up 395; up to 41F here from 34F
  4. Had been sitting at 34F since sunset, now up to 35F
  5. Kind of surprised BOX has no advisory up for Windham County, only Tolland?!?. Clearly they’re going with the colder air being further west.
  6. Temps here in my valley location have dropped from 38F to 34F with the loss of daytime heating; maybe this goes towards a colder scenario here?
  7. 38F here in valley, still think I am too warm for much more than a sloppy coating, maybe an inch… best stuff are in the higher elevations north of me
  8. Decent cold allowing the ski areas to get a jump on the season. I can remember going to Sunday River in the Early 90’s and them only having 16 runs open in Mid December; what we see is nothing new.
  9. Same down here, not expecting much other than a slushy coating; further north with Elevation with get more
  10. I think my valley location here might not fair well, but Ginxy just to my SE with Elevation might see some accumulation along with the hills just to my NW into Pomfret/Hampton and Woodstock
  11. Looks like BOX cut back on their totals in the eastern areas; wasn’t expecting anything but rain here in the valley.
  12. Down to 14F in the valley, nice pond freezing cold the past few days
  13. Dry weather and woodstove ash fueled brush fires to continue?? I mean we currently have the airmass, just need some storms to break the right way. If there is any silver lining in this is that New England Ski areas can at least build a good man made base heading towards the end of the month.
  14. Still think Se of 84 is under an 1” or rain; congrats elevations.
  15. Decent cold temps considering there is no snow pack down here; 14F so far for the low.
  16. Down to 19F this am in E CT; decent early cold shot to start December.
  17. Every car in New England shuttered with that thought…..How we have progressed; we’ve come from rear wheel drive cars and sand with some salt mixed in on the roads to copious amounts of salt and road, car, and bridge eating road chemicals and cars that are front wheel drive, all wheel drive and 4 wheel drive and the accident rate is this about the same it was 40 years ago!
  18. Black ice issues this evening? Down to 35F here and damp and foggy.
