I was fortunate to spend most of the day on Block Island, temps there in the low 70s. I am making my way back home in Eastern Connecticut and temps have only risen to 86. Look at radar looks like there’s a nice sea breeze running up to 395 temp at home dropped from 95 to 90 -
I missed just to my north ( had sprinkles) last evening and nothing over night

Cloudy along the I-395 Corridor keeping temps down into the 80’s

What kind of sea breeze interaction can we see during this stretch? Only reason asking last night its appears one formed and made it down into NE CT judging by radar. After spending 9 years working outside in S FL I was keen to watching the sea breeze develop on radar for indication where storms might start to form.

Decent shot of heavy rain and some thunder; almost .75” of much needed rain

Lots of Boundary and outflow collisions on radar, showers popping.

Cell just popped over me with boundary that passed north and blew east over I 395

Just missed some decent rain in NE CT last night, up to 2” in some areas.

Just over 2” of much needed rain from yesterday.

Thankfully not the case here, about 1.32” so far; just SE of us 2.5-3.00” amounts.

Hope that’s not case, need something beneficial out of this. Next shot would be Friday.

Looks like congrats @ineedsnow north on the rain; possibly .4-.9” here in E CT…. will see what happens. Wouldn’t be shocked if it wagons north and we get .25

Looks like heaviest rains Monday and Tuesday Rt 2 north?…As long as I see .50” or more down here I will be happy
