  2. IDK, For a pretty Meh storm there are a lot of tree on house calls in Eastern CT
  3. A few tree and wire calls in Woodstock in the NW corner of town near where @powderfreakis staying.

  11. Must be nice to live in the city, I lost power for 5 days for Irene and 5 for the October Snow storm, and I wasn’t necessarily in the sticks of NE CT
  12. Define “fixation” on winds; I don’t think anyone is expecting 90 mph sustained or gusts to 100+ but I do think sustained to 45 and gust to 70 are possible to Mt Tolland and given the rainfall in sections of CT the last few months that’s enough to cause some damage.
  13. Even down here not all electric lines aren’t buried but, Florida Power & Light has invested in their network, swapping out most poles to cement including the high tension poles.
  14. While I agree, I think many are down playing the current wet soil conditions In many places, and you won’t need big winds to bring down some trees

  21. I don’t disagree, I just think due to the already saturated ground in many areas your not going to need big wind to cause problems
  22. East side is the dirty side of the storm, be careful what you wish for.
  23. Think this ends up right in Ginx/Kev backyard. Models had Fred in Mobile and gradually came back east.
  24. And today didn’t help matters for many.
