We had an outbreak of those at my fathers house in Truro MA about 15 years ago. He thought one of the renters was bringing their pets into the house. A chance discussion with a local told him about the caterpillars. I believe there is also a caterpillar who's droppings can cause reactions also.
We had a ton a couple weeks back, but they've pretty much gone early this year... thank God. However we've had more mosquitos than usual, although we rarely have much of any where I live for some reason
Installed a couple weeks back when we had the 80 degree day(s) but haven't run them much. We have chinchillas and they have to be kept under 75 degrees. They're a great pet to have as an excuse to keep the house cool.
We did this in '18 right after we moved to Westfield. Installed them once and done. They seem to know what to do to keep our yard populated year after year We haven't seen one tic in the yard either
30 here as well. Nothing except snow piles left to melt though. Need some rain to get the treatment off the roads. Life has thrown way too many curve balls the last month... like 5 years worth. I need to get the car out of storage and go cruising!
