  1. I remember some really bad winters in the 1980's and early 1990's, and not necessarily SNE but NNE also. Skip skiing for the day At Loon or Cannon because the trails were wiped and drive to Sugarloaf or Sunday River the next day. That's much more rare now with the improved snowmaking but there were some really tough skiing/winter years up there, snow basically wiped out for prime weeks.
  2. Best case scenario: Mix line creeps near Lowell, you pick up 10+ and I get my .5" ice
  3. Yeah, I think you're in the minority on that one. Most people want damage and dangerous travel
  4. I'm starting to get interested in this one. Would rather have lots of ice than snow, and let NNE get hit. let's bring some down
  5. Only 29 days of winter left, get out and in it if that's your thing.
  6. More model snow from the ICON, I'll enjoy the fantasy snow anyway
  7. This cold is annoying, hopefully if it remains active the next few weeks we see a few hugger or even cutter tracks.
  8. with the deep snowpack over SE NE, let's get a heavy rain/flooder to shake things up
  9. NWS knows their forecast busted badly here, using bad data to verify. lol
  10. not sure who is training these people, but 1 mile N of Burlington MA did not see 22". haha
  11. I cannot "officially" measure here for a couple more hours but, it's like 13" with measuring here
  12. I am measuring in my wooded backyard around 12-13" , not actual depth but measurements
  13. Yeah I had 29" OTG in North Attleboro, there was more in Taunton. I measured and shoveled. They had like 35", or low 30"s iirc
  14. Tauntons all-time biggest? There was around 28" jan 1996 and 30-35" in 1978 on the NW side of the city. (ground truth, family/I from there)
  15. Just got back home, looks like around 2.5" since. Guessing 11"
