  1. unless you're way up high and in, be best to forget about appreciable snows for a long time
  2. I've seen worse, but yeah. wow. imagine after the wiping
  3. what a winter! This Weekend Southern New England should experience a rather pleasant weekend by December standards as high pressure builds over the region with a mild air mass. 925 hPa temps around 0 Celsius will support above normal temperatures in the mid to upper 40s for most of the region both Saturday and Sunday afternoon with some low 50s possible across the southeastern areas. Dry with sunny skies on Saturday thanks to northwest flow, but as winds shift southeast on Sunday we will experience increasing cloud cover during the afternoon.
  4. no one thinks Dec. Is a climo snowy month, it's just all the mets went wild in Novie because of some faux cold/ snowy weeklies, and it obviously crashed and burned
  5. it's really nice outside! festive
  6. Yeah lucky trajectory, nice to see a few renegade snow showers to be honest! May not see again for a long long time
  7. wow buzzkills in the thread. sheesh
  8. Hoping for some rain pain (3-6") to loosen up soil/roots, easier to take 'em down
  9. hopefully it's conservative, we want those #'s much higher
  10. yeah it's wild, nothing worthwhile to track for months now
  11. we'll see what happens. I'd not be very excited for awhile...let's just hope it's stormy by January/February and not January is typical a month
  12. i would. your area is different, being wedged until July
  13. who is "we"? Like your immediate area? The NNE mountains can do okay even in a stinky pattern, even CNE I suppose. otherwise agree.
  14. Yeah wow. hopefully it comes west a bit so it's not another far SE event
  15. hopefully the next rainer/winder misses? it's all we got, so hopefully it winds up deep and cuts way west
