    Actually for the next 2 or 3 weeks the back roads wont be slushy at all. They will be a frozen bumpy mess of solid ice. Youngins have never experienced whats about to happen.

    Best storm ever here. No lie. But what a shitty winter overall it was. I think people will be shocked how long whatever falls sticks around with this one. There is about to be some 80's type winter stuff going on. 6-8 weeks of frozen cover will change a whole bunch of peoples minds about what is fun and isnt.

    I think it trends better. This air mass is way different from what we normally deal with. There is a shit ton of cold coming. And I think a lot of us will get blitzed.

    Good to see the pro mets stick to climo norms with their prelim forecasts. I still think we see at least a foot out here. Unless a weeks worth of guidance was completely false. But with modern models I highly doubt that.

    Especially the folks in the south. They were expecting a historic snowstorm on Monday. Now a lot of them are getting straight up rain.

    I will say this though. After the week long hype about this. If it fails the non weather weenies will tune out for the rest of the winter. Which can be dangerous.

    I don't think this one is going to completely fall apart though. Won't be historic for snow. But it will be for the ice and temps. It's going to be cold a fuck bro.
