  1. Things will change again and again. Don't worry right now at all on whether it's rain or snow.
  2. I don't know why some people got so excited over thinking Sunday night was going to happen. Poor Kev, I think he's giving up already..lol
  3. So I take it the GFS showed nothing for Sunday night?
  4. But wasn't the Euro the one that had to come back northwest with the last event?
  5. Nothing too exciting over the next 10 days. Maybe it will change for next week.
  6. Lol ... Why would you punt the first half of the month when today's December 3rd. Also, I would call it a win that we even got some wintry precipitation this early in the month. I'm in Plainville and we had about an inch. It didn't all get washed away from the rain we had after, and we even had a coating of snow on top of that late last night. I guess it's all perspective, right? Feels wintry to me ( not saying I wouldn't like everything's completely covered ).
  7. I may not always agree or like what you say, but I nearly spit my lunch out after reading what you wrote. I think I'm starting to appreciate and understand your sick sense of humor. Lol
  8. Ok. So I ask you again. Why do you bother being on here then? Don't you think that there are several of us who feel the same to way? But we aren't constantly bitching about it with every single post. Chin up, pull your big boy pants up, and hope for the best.
  9. Stop. Just stop posting. You could F$#k up a wet dream. Lol
  10. Take today's storm for instance. It really was heading in One direction a few days back and then all the sudden yesterday things went downhill for a lot of people and the Connecticut and Southeastern Mass area. Fast forward to today, and I'm still at 31 at my house and they put a winter weather advisory in place until tomorrow morning at 7:00. So yes, things can and will change, especially when it's a week away.
  11. Man... You are completely scorched. Maybe it's just time to let go and stick with the summertime forum. Just trying to save you from the pain you are dealing with.
  12. I work in West Hartford and it had been sleeting for quite a while, about half an hour ago it went over to snow and everything's covered, back to sleet/snow mix. I hope it's one of those surprises where it doesn't turn to rain, but I'm still going with it's turning to rain so I don't get disappointed LOL
  13. I always find with marginal temps, you get a lot of trapped cold air and temperature staying just below freezing in all the valley areas. I guess we'll see what happens later this afternoon
  14. Great place to go tubing. I usually take my daughter there every year.
  15. I know, it's like holding our breath every time we have a new possibility. And as we know with today's event, things aren't set in stone. Even 24 hours before. Fingers are crossed for a good Snow event for all!
  16. " Get your bread and milk, GET YOUR BREAD AND MILK " ... ( If you know you know ).
  17. As of now it looks like we're getting brushed by some flurries or light snow. But like today, that could change too
  18. I think you mentioned something about that last night. Things changed after he made his final map
  19. Sh&t... At this point I'll take a coating at the end. At least it looks like something happened and it wasn't washed away.
  20. That's okay, I just said this morning to my other half that I forgot to start up the snow blower yesterday to make sure everything is good. And then today everything went to s***. I don't even think we'll see a trace LOL. Well if I see some flakes in the air I guess that's good enough for now.
  21. Lol .. I've only been on this form now for the last decade. I think I earned it at this point.
  22. That's funny. I say the same my thing as far as being disappointed and all in I get is a weenie symbol ( sometimes from Kev himself ). So... All I would say is get over it and move onto the next. Nothing we can do about it, it's Weather and it changes daily.
  23. Wow, this one was fun to track, but all over the place. Not to give Kevin a big head, but I have to give him credit. He's stuck to his guns from the beginning. I'll be happy if I get an inch. Not too disappointed, as it's early and I don't usually see much snow around this time frame. I would start getting more anxious by the middle of the month. But even then, as we say for the last several years, we still have January, February and March. Hopefully we'll look back on this conversation by March and say what a winter it was!
