  1. Still ok. Still calling for 1"-4" for you, me, WW...mix along the shore
  2. Ok... Now you are being sarcastic There are two camps here, pessimistic and optimistic. I think that's what the friction has been all about. There's no one person who's right or wrong. When the models show one thing, the optimistic side of people will either say this could change or hey, this is looking great. The pessimistic people would say, I told you so, or it's going to change back to something that we don't like. That's the difference we have here. With all that said, I think everyone is on the same page. I think we all want to see a better setup this winter than we did the last few. Our chances are good to have a better setup in general. And even for this month, with things going back to a milder pattern ( in the most recent runs ) but it doesn't mean we can't see snow, it just makes it a bit harder. Lastly, as with any weather pattern, things could abruptly switch back to a colder pattern again but whatever happens happens. There's just some of us who like to take that dagger and dig it and twist in as it seems to give them some sort of twisted satisfaction. As with life, let's just move forward. We're just one step closer to having something Great!
  3. Q.... What is today's date? Oh . It's December 1st. That's Snow that New York got was definitely a gift ( and an early one at that ). Why don't you go join hands with forkey fork and Allsnow and you guys can all sing kumbaya
  4. Give it up man. Your being passive aggressive with the purpose of trying to stir the pot is a low blow. Either be a part of the discussion with constructive criticism or stick a FORK in it.
  5. So we don't know if this will happen for sure, but, did you fall and hit your head hard? If this comes to fruition this is a good thing ( And I believe seeing the above normal temperatures in the Arctic is what displaces the cold air South.... Remember, the Arctics temperature averages at this time of the year are extremely cold, so if they're going to be warmer than normal, they're still cold. It just displaces some of their cold air southward, no? ). But, humor me. What's your thinking?
  6. I'm sure this will not be the final outcome...but, there's a storm A-Brewin!!
  7. Come on man, what you're saying is the 14th is going to pan out where the others won't. I'm not saying that the two snow events have petered out on the latest model run, but doesn't mean they won't come back, nor does it mean that we're getting a big rainstorm on the 14. It could happen, but nothing 's written in stone
  8. Huh??? Winter doesn't end until March 21st. Unless something changed and I missed it.
  9. December is a start of winter. Yes, but climatologically, it's not considered a snowy month. Also, Mark should be considered a snowy month. Yes, The daylight hours get longer and the Sun angle gets stronger, but we get some good snows in March and have had good snows in March, so why you're writing that off is beyond main Also your comment ww... Are you delusional or something. Seriously, you posted that it was going to be a warm first half of December, you kept talking about it and saying to everyone stop believing that we'll get cold. Cold. And what happened, we're opposite of what you said. You're not being realistic, your being combative. I'm trying to keep this thing civil and discuss things like adults. It's supposed to be a forum to discuss what is upcoming. And yes, we can have opinions on our thoughts of what we think might happen and they may not be the same. But you and a few others really like to stir the pot. Let's just move on and enjoy what's happening and look forward to what could happen. We have zero control over what actually happens, we can only look at what the models show for the future engage what we think might happen. Let's do that instead of attack each other. Isn't that why we come in here?
  10. Look.. I'm not sure why there is a bunch of you guys who have been knocking down what we are already seeing. Ok, we may not get that blockbuster Snowstorm during this period, but we are cold ( And you and several others have jumped all over us who've said that the cold is coming ). I think everybody in here wants the same thing, well pretty much everyone. But, we are in December and it's an iffy month for Southern New England and Mid-Atlantic when it comes to big snows. Plus, there's always that possibility of a surprise where we don't see a storm on the maps until less than a week out.... It has happened before. Point is, I think you guys tend to want to knock down the cold or snow because you don't want to get yourselves too excited about something just to be let down. Trust me, we all feel the same way. Just ride the ride. Have more beer and enjoy it, that should do the trick.
  11. Kev... Get a grip on yourself. You're falling to piece's man. I think one good Snow event will pick you back up off the floor.
  12. There are places in Connecticut that they have some snow. So, your knife twisting didn't work this time. But good try
  13. Couldn't have said it any better. When push comes to shove, were extremely lucky for what we have. Just having the opportunity to come out here and be able to talk about something we all are passionate about is a gift. All good things come in due time! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I couldn't be more grateful to be able to host in my home with my family.
  14. Do I sense an ounce of positivity from your lips? And there could be some lights snow Thursday. There may also be something to watch next weekend. Although I'm not sure on your highs of 28 to 38. At least in Southern New England, we're going to be in the '30s, but I didn't hear anything about twenties for highs ( Although that would get the ponds Frozen )
  15. Totally agree. Proceeding with cautious optimism is the way to go. But I myself also have that flutter of of excitement . I think it's because the pattern looking ahead isn't s***. Can it change, yes. But right now it looks promising for at least an opportunity for some good things to come. I'd rather see the forum in this mode instead of the mode where we are getting on each other's nerves and attacking each other, but that comes with the territory I guess ( It's almost like family, we spend a lot of time with each other everyday, so we are bound to get on each other's nerves. But then we get over it. With that said, I have my armor on and my sword by my side.... in case I come on later and things have changed....lol
  16. Is that back end area of precipitation in Connecticut going to end up as snow?
  17. I get it, but he's still an instigator. Always has been through the last few years. Don't worry man, I could read the room.
  18. Lol... You're the biggest instigator of them all TT. You're a funny dude.
  19. Okay, I think people are getting overly sensitive now. I think the issue with your posts are you are just making assumptions on what the outcome. That December is just going to be a dry and cold month with no snow or storminess. The point is that what WW, myself and a few others are making, is none of us have any clue on what's going to happen. I said in an earlier post that we get models showing blizzards in 2 weeks and then we get closer and they're gone. Well, the same thing goes for the model showing nothing for 2 weeks and then all the sudden something appears and boom, we have a snowstorm in our hands. No one knows what's going to happen for sure, but I know we're all feeling pretty burnt over the last couple of years with missing out on even having average Snowfall ( especially SNE ). In the end, weather's going to do what the weather is going to do. Let's just enjoy the ride
  20. Didn't go down that rabbit hole. You should know better than that. How many times have we had snowstorms on the models for 2-3 weeks out and then they are gone? Pull it together..lol
  21. Again...... How can it suck when it doesn't even start until Sunday? Either way though... It is what it is.
  22. Yeah.. I'm aware what the topic is. But I'm also aware of your pessimism. If you think I'm wrong, than tell me otherwise. Listen.. I'm not here to sprinkle you with positive vibes, but, don't write something off that hasn't begun.
  23. Ha!!!! Your usually one of the culprits that gives the confused, or crap emojis. But you know you want itjust as much as anyone Else. You're about ready to bust inside,
