  1. About the same...hey 8" is far better than the shit we've dealt with the past 8 weeks
  2. Hey I'd hate to go away from this event to look into the future but the euro is all snow for Sunday night and has what looks to be a decent event next Thurs...food for thought. .
  3. I'm noticing quite a bit of lake enhancement off Ontario ATM and it stretches down to lake Erie and central Erie co. Just don't tell the Mets it'll be our secret...
  4. Yes but I do like the look to our west. Radar filling in nicely and snowfall rares look moderate over Southern Ontario and it's heading towards WNY. Most likely where we will pick up our 3 or 4 inches today.
  5. The bust is real. About 1/4" of snow overnight...radar looks like shit...might squeak out 2 or 3" today...that went poof faster than a Copperfield illusion...
  6. I'm quite low on far WNY getting more than a couple inches at best. This looks more like the Genesee Valley east and North.
  7. It is very dynamic. My guess is precip will just erupt over us? Because there isn't much until you get to Nashville.
  8. I'm going with less than what's showing...moderate freezingvrain ATM and not much precip behind...last night overachiever...tonight underachieving
  9. And oddly the NWS buf says the worst period with 1/2" to 1 1/2" rates during rush hour tomorrow am...i always love when there are conflicting thoughts...
  10. Downgraded to a winter weather advisory for 5 to 10 inches...still good I guess...
  11. OSU im nowhere near your level of expertise, but given where I live in Williamsville close to Clarence, I can say with good confidence that lake enhancement off Ontario makes it to me quite frequently but models NEVER pick up on it. They stop right at the Niagara/Erie border like there's a magic wall there. The storm in November was a perfect example of this as we bested the amount we were forecast by 3 or 4 inches due to the enhancement. I think N. Erie is going to overachieve again.
  12. That looks west to me. I think the taint line for a while will be just east of buffalo in the Genesee Valley for a while...looks like all snow after 4pm Niagara frontier...possibly heavy overnight before better dynamics shift east.
  13. Is mixing an issue? Seems the moisture synoptically and enhancement should be enough, no?
  14. It's all about the HP in Canada...if it sits in place we score...but like so many times this year they retreated to the east or north leaving us with modified air and rain. Funny thing is looking out a week or so and can see a very similar opportunity.
  15. 4.1" for round one. All counties added to WSW and this looks to be our big storm for the year.
  16. I like the 8 to 12 for the Niagara frontier for the duration of the storm
