  1. OMG, these ones??? https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/research/a33413777/pentagon-ufo-program-materials-vehicles/ https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/research/a34908126/leaked-ufo-photo-motionless-cube-shaped-object/
  2. Christmas gift idea? (Though the precipitation shield doesn’t really hammer Morris County [emoji2371]) .
  3. Isn’t that interesting how it happens? .
  4. Don't tell them that! j/k... snowing @MMU while I'm sitting on a Teams Conference call. Nice ambience.
  5. I feel like our running theme the past few years is who can call out Winter's Over the quickest. I feel like someone just said we're running out of days in December... it's December 7th. Enjoy the journey.
  6. Pretty, but I'm thinking of the flood potential and wet basement looking at that.
  7. *and late 1980s/early 1990s here. Those were fun.
  8. Not a met - but why does everyone fall for the long-term forecasts every year? It's a wash, rinse, repeat every single season. I get the vague trends - but after seven days, things just fall off a cliff and they *seem* to change on a whim.
  9. I'm not denying or questioning anything anyone is saying or forecasting here - I'm not a meteorologist, just a hobbyist from having TWC on a loop as a child with Jeanetta Jones and John Hope - but why do we throw in the towel earlier and earlier every year? Everything is always so negative. I hope it snows, too, but who knows. Just let it play out.
  10. Doesn't it seem a tad early to be spiking the ball on this? I know everyone likes to call something and be correct about it, but it seems way too early to be right. Then again, 50/50 chance.
  11. https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2020/05/04/record-cold-east-mothers-day/ I'm sure this has been posted already, but... Thanks for being here in January.
  12. Explain this to me like I'm five years old.
  13. Hey guys, figured I'd check in a month into quarantine. Quick question, and maybe it's already been asked and pondered: Do you think the reduction in pollution and emissions will meaningfully impact next winter at all? I've noticed how clear the air is, and you probably have, too. Thanks!
  14. This is like when we were kids here (in the 1980s and early 1990s)... warm when there's moisture; when it's freezing cold, it's dry. .
  15. Kidding aside, is winter over here? I just checked in here for the first time in a few weeks. I’m hoping that it doesn’t pop in for a visit in four weeks and leave our baseball fields a muddy mess into April. .
  16. Yea... c'est la vie. Funny, with this tranquil weather, and after some snow and ice out here earlier this month, I'm ready for Spring.
  17. Nah... I like them up from Thanksgiving Week until now. Same with my tree. Spending tomorrow and Saturday getting everything down and packed away. I love Christmas and how you're supposed to go through the New Year and Epiphany, but I'm done once the 26th rolls around.
  18. What a beautiful next few days to take down my Christmas lawn decorations!
  19. Looks like it's going to quiet for a while, so I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! I assume we'll be quiet here over the next week or so. We've had a nice snowstorm so far in Morris County, an additional whitening, an ice storm, an arctic front with squalls, and some cold; all before Christmas! A nice start and fun to watch!
